Pulled from the vaults of their respected studios. Avarice and Pruven come together to make M.I.T. (Moorish Institute Of Terminology) This project was recorded, mixed and mastered between the years 2014 to 2017. M.I.T. (Avarice and Pruven) take you on a journey of history, revealing lyrics, and descriptive visionary tales. Along side a hip hop soundscape shedding light on the legacy of the Moors. In it's essence, this is hiphop with these two artist working to expose modern topics then onto unearthing remnants of the Moorish past. Who they were (the Moors) and how they were faded out of the modern society outlets. This album sets on a self evident mission that the M.I.T. duo acknowledge culture pride yet still rhyme purposely with respect for others on this life's expedition. Both artist focus on bringing forth strong content with lyrics. While each emcee delivers focused yet different material with either ethereal vibes or with quick staccato cadences, they carry substance to decimate microphones and give life awareness to people in general plus awareness to the Moors. Basically, Avarice and Pruven delivery a body of work with vinyl crate boom bap production accompanying them opening lanes to explore the unique historic paths of their heritage.
